Double Gurkha (buckles) + SGD 25
Our interpretation of the Gurkha waistband draws its inspiration from the famed Ghurka shorts, a standard issue for elite Nepalese soldiers. Distinct in appearance, the waistband is slightly higher and it has two overlapping straps secured by adjustable buckles on each side. For this design, we recommend going with fabrics that are lighter in weight. The design of the waistband is such that there are many layers of fabric stacked on each other when the buckle is secured. As such, the waistband will not sit completely flushed against your waist.
